Pharmacy Technician

Full-Time Pharmacy Technician — Long Term Care

Schedule: Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm

Status: Full-Time

Requirement: Must hold an active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential

Experience: Prior pharmacy experience preferred; Long Term Care experience a plus, WE WILL TRAIN.

What You'll Do

As a Long Term Care Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring residents at our partner facilities receive their medications accurately and on time. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, packaging, and labeling prescription medications for Long Term Care facility residents

• Process new prescriptions, refills, and medication change orders from nursing facilities

• Operate and maintain automated dispensing and packaging equipment (such as unit-dose and multi-dose blister pack systems)

• Manage and organize medication cycle fills to ensure timely delivery to each facility

• Maintain accurate patient profiles and medication records in the pharmacy management system

• Coordinate with nursing staff and facility caregivers to resolve medication-related questions and requests

• Receive, verify, and properly store pharmaceutical inventory and supplies

• Assist with controlled substance tracking, documentation, and regulatory compliance

• Support medication returns and destruction processes in accordance with state and federal regulations

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment

• Participate in quality assurance activities, including medication audits and error prevention initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license — required

• Familiarity with Long Term Care pharmacy operations and cycle fill workflows preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with facility staff and team members

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative pharmacy team
